Hello,

Since the last two Win 10 updates I am having problems connect PC1 (see blow for Config) with PC2 dispite the Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Centre\Advanced sharing settings are correct and the individuals disk have shareable directories.

Sometime a tansfer functions however mostly not - where I reset the Network Config again, the directory sharing then reboot and it may then work .

However I am now observing that in

Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Centre\Advanced sharing settings\private

The file and printer sharing is set to OFF, when I set to ON leave the page and then return the values is set to OFF again.

Please help with this and m<y Network connection problems:

Many thabks in advance

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you’re facing issues when sharing files over the network. I will certainly try my best to assist you with the issue.

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to follow the suggestions by Roohi_Taj replied on January 8, 2019 and see if that helps.

In addition, make sure the permissions provided to the shared folder allows access to the folder, so that other PC can see and access the files. Refer the article File sharing over a network in Windows 10

Let us know how it goes.
