I have recently bought a bluetooth adapter for my Windows 7 PC. I have tried to turn on bluetooth radio in bluetooth settings but every time i press apply, I receive an error message saying that the device is not available and the setting could not be applied. I have not had this problem before and I have checked the integrity of my system. How may I fix this issue?

If you go to the Start menu > Control Panel > Devices and Printers is your Bluetooth adapter showing up in there? If so, does it have a yellow triangle with an exclamation point beside it?

Try right-clicking the device and hit troubleshoot, what does Windows say is the problem?
