Hi guys,
I have recently purchased a Bluetooth dongle for my pc because the built in Bluetooth on my motherboard (MSI-B550M Pro-VDH) is not connecting to my Bluetooth devices. So how do I disable the internal Bluetooth permanently because as i try to disable the Bluetooth drivers of my internal Bluetooth then there would not be a turn Bluetooth on/off setting in the settings page. Furthermore it would not allow me to connect to any Bluetooth devices. Any feedback is kindly appreciated. Thank You

Hi WilsonTeh1
I am Dave, I will help you with this.
On an MSI PC or laptop you will have a utility named SCM Installed and you can use that to disable Bluetooth
At the bottom right of you screen, you should see a small silver icon, right click that to open the SCM Control Panel and there you will find that option.
.
Hi Wilson, I am glad you were able to solve this problem.
Hi Dave,
i will attach two pics below. The first pic is the device manager which shows the radio driver connected properly (CSR Bluetooth Radio) and the second picture shows there is not a bluetooth on/off selection in the settings. The dongle is connected as (Dongle) under the other devices section. The bluetooth dongle that i have purchased is the TP- Link UB 400. Thank You.
Hi WilsonTeh1,
1
Open device manager, find that internal Bluetooth device, right click and choose properties, then rather than uninstalling it, on the driver tab, disable it
2
Check the support page for your system on the MSI website, to check if SCM is downloadable from there.
