Hi!

When I play with League of Legends sometimes my internet just disconnects. And when it happens it also disconnects me from Discord and other softwares BUT the Google Chrome works just fine I can watch youtube, write messages on facebook but those two programs don't want to reconnect even after a while. Only restarting my computer fixed the issue for them. I restarted the router and modem but only the chrome worked. I mean I can play and talk on discord for a while but sometimes it just disconnects.

Hello, my name is Marco. I will do my best to help you.

You can try this methods below.

    1

-Hold the Windows Key and Press X. Choose Command Prompt (Admin) or PowerShell (Admin).

-Type the following commands one by one to reset your Network Settings.

    netsh winsock reset

    netsh int ip reset

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    ipconfig /flushdns

    -Restart your computer

    2

If the issue persist, check if your Network profile is private.

-On the right corner of the taskbar, click on the Wi-Fi network icon.

    -Now press “Properties”.

-Under the Network Profiles , make sure the private box is checked.

    Restart your computer

    3

-Go to Device Manager ( Press win+x keys) > Network Adapters

-Select Wifi card, right-click on it and select properties.

-Then, open Power Management tab, uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off the device to save energy."

-Then on the Advanced tab disable any energy-saving options.

    4

In the same place, update network card drivers.

Right-click on network wifi adapter and " update driver "

Select Search automatically for updated driver software.

    Select Update Driver.

If possible, check if the problem persists with an ethernet cable instead of wifi.

Ok, yeah sometimes that's the thing to do, unless the problem is really the router.

If you need help with a clean reinstall of Windows 10, here is a pretty complete tutorial
