Memory Integrity Can't Be turned On Due To Incompatible Drivers - lhusbdfuamd64.sys & WinVDEdrv6.sys

I've been trying to activate Core Isolation but these two drivers are preventing me. How would I remove them and is it safe to do so?

It seems that lhusbdfuamd64.sys is installed by UE MEGABOOM Update Assistant. But I uninstalled that some months ago.

OS Name: Microsoft Windows 10 Home

Version:10.0.19043 Build 19043

Thanks

    Hi ex-jedi

Rest assured, neither pf those drivers are Windows system drivers, there is nothing to worry about.

Success! I deleted the Logitech one with PnPUtil. There's a walkthrough here in case someone needs it. The winVDEdrv6.sys was in C:\Windows\SysWOW64. Renaming it worked fine without safe mode strangely enough.

Thank you (and my G&T) for your help.

    Hi ex-jedi,

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this.

Neither of those drivers is a required component on your Windows system, open File Explorer, then navigate to C:\WIndows\System32

Search for each driver individually, then right click that driver file and select rename and add a .old file extension to it

Do that for both driver files, then restart your PC and check if you can enable Memory Integrity.

    Hi ex-jedi,

Have you checked in Device manager to see if that USB Bluetooth Dongle driver can be removed?

If not download the tiny free utility below, extract the resulting zip file and right click USB Deview and choose Run as Administrator.

Look through the list of USB devices that have previously been connected to your PC, you might find that there and you can right click and uninstall it form there.

    Computer says no. 😅

Is there a workaround for this?

    Thanks
