So, the problem has returned. It's been fine for the past four weeks, not a single crash, but then suddenly, I got four crashes just yesterday and another one today. All that time, I was watching videos on Youtube, or playing cloud games and nothing happened, until yesterday. I didn't do anything unusual, any hardware changes. After every crash I launched the scans described above, it didn't help.
PC keeps crashing into a black screen, or freezing when watching videos, Youtube, Twitch, etc.
Hello,
few ago my PC started to crash to a black screen randomly while I'm watching videos, or Youtube, or use cloud gaming services (which is basically the same as watching videos) - it never happens while playing games, or during anything that requires the dedicated graphics. The PC freezes, screen goes black (backlit is on, but the PC doesn't respond), sound freezes too, sometimes there are flashing white stripes, sometimes it freezes with the screen picture on, but most of the time it's just black. There is nothing that would indicate any error in the Event viewer (as far as I can tell), nothing in the reliability history. Sometimes it happens 3x in one day, sometimes there can be a week when nothing happens.
All my drivers are up to date.
My PC: Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55, CPU: i7-10750H, GPU: Nvidia 3060, 16 GB RAM.

2021-08-09T19:02:41+00:00 Right. Restart your computer and check for progress. However, this was just a first step in our troubleshooting process. Now it is important to also ensure that all available updates for Windows are installed. To do this go to Start > Settings > Update and Security > Check for updates.
Apply all available updates.
On that same screen, you will see "Show optional updates", in this option you can mark optional driver updates, as the system is showing this instability, updating these drivers can help too.

2021-08-09T18:37:52+00:00 Hi, my name is Anderson Souza, I hope I can help you with your issue.
We can start by checking the integrity of your system files. Windows has two tools commonly used for this purpose: SFC and DISM.
The System File Checker (SFC) tool built into Windows will scan your Windows system files for corruption or any other changes. If a file has been modified, it will automatically replace that file with the correct version. If the SFC command doesn’t work, you can also try the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) command to repair the underlying Windows system image.
[ Using System File Checker in Windows 10 ]
System File Checker is a utility in Windows 10 that checks for problems with files on your computer. To run it, follow these steps:
Make sure you've installed the latest updates for Windows 10, and then restart your machine. To find out more, read Update Windows 10.
In the search box on the taskbar, type Command Prompt, and right-click or press and hold Command Prompt (Desktop app) from the list of results. Select Run as administrator, and then select Yes.
Type
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth(note the space before each "/"), and then press Enter. (Note: This step may take a few minutes to start and up to 30 minutes to complete.)
After you see a message that says "The operation completed successfully," type
sfc /scannow(note the space between "sfc" and "/") and press Enter.
After you see a message that says, "Verification 100% complete," type exit.

2021-08-09T18:54:23+00:00 Thank you for the response, both tests finished and SFC didn't find any integrity violations. Hard to tell if it worked now, if it didn't I'll be back.
