The 10.6 MB file is the x64 and the 9.9 MB file is the x86.
Did you copy and paste into a brand new empty folder and then point device manager to that newly created folder?

Hi everyone,
my audio playback and microphone recording stop working around 5-40 minutes after I start my PC. Running Windows "Troubleshoot sound problems" does not resolve the issue. Each time I am asked to restart my PC, which results in a recovery of sound, but then it breaks down again.
Here are my specifics:
OS:
Windows 10 Home
Build: 19043.1110
Audio specifics:
Hardware IDs:
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_76E0&SUBSYS_103C1967&REV_1003
HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_76E0&SUBSYS_103C1967
Driver Details:
IDT High Definition Audio CODEC
Driver version: 6.10.6491.0
Driver date: 08/16/2013
I tried a few things already to solve the issue but nothing came out of it. I tried updating the driver via windows update function, which installs some other driver that makes audio very weak. However, even then the same thing happens, I just loose sound completely. I also tried installing a newer driver from 2015 that I found from HP but same problems occur. Once I even got chirping instead of sound.
There is another piece of information that might be relevant: I have noticed that my taskbar and volume control freeze a bit just before and after the sound ceases.
It would be great if you could help me solve this dreadful issue.
Best,
Milan

Try this driver, unzip, copy/paste to empty folder, device manager update

Thanks Joseph. I just need a bit more guidance installing the driver that I downloaded. Could you help me with that?
When I try to update through the device manager, and select the folder I downloaded, it just refuses to update, saying I already have the newest driver installed.
I tried deleting the device along with the driver from the device manager, and scanning for hardware changes which loads the "High Definition Audio Device", driver version 10.0.19041.264, and when I try to update to the driver I downloaded I get the same refusal saying that I already have the newest driver installed.
Thanks!
Thanks for showing me this Anderson. Unfortunately, even if I do a clean boot, the problem persists.

Hi, my name is Anderson Souza, I hope I can help you with your issue.
We can start by enabling a Clean Windows Boot. A clean boot is performed to start Windows using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps to eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program on Windows 10. You can also resolve or determine which conflict is causing the problem by performing a clean boot.
Please check the necessary procedures to do a clean boot on Windows at the link below:

If the problem does not occur at Clean Boot, the article itself indicates how to identify the problem.
