That would unfortunately mean that the controller had indeed malfunctioned.

Whenever I plug my ps4 controller in it shows an orange light than just turns off and isn't recognized by anything and it is not ghosted
pls help Ive tried everything and nothing seems to work.

Have you tested out the controller with a PS?
Orange light one blink usually means a hardware issue with the controller.
