    Hi,

I was recently updating some apps from Microsoft Store. I Found HP Audio Control in suggestion and it looks Genuine. Here is a Screenshot.

But when I opened it, It loads for about 5-10 minutes and show message that "Can not connect to RPC Service."

    Here is a Screenshot.

So what should I do next?

Hi, my name is Neil, I'm an independent adviser and a Windows 10 user like you.

    Sorry you're having this issue.

Can you give me the model number of your laptop please as this will enable me to locate the correct drivers for your system at HP.

    Kindest regards,

    Neil

    Hi,

Can you confirm your model number is: HP Notebook - 15-da0295tu?

I saw your Product No:- 4TT00PA, but these can often be unreliable for the model number. In fact, I received some info about your product number and this was incorrect.

If you can confirm your model number by writing down exactly what is written on the label on the back of your laptop, that would be great and avoid mistakes.

    Kindest regards,

    Neil

    Hi,

Ok, it looks like the HP Audio Control is a proprietary program from HP.

I'm thinking that this has either been replaced by a newer driver (for something like Realtek Audio for example) or that it runs from the Control Panel and wouldn't actually show as a regular 'App' that is selectable from your normal programs list.

Can you check the following for me please:

In the search box on your Taskbar, type the following: CONTROL PANEL

Then click on Control Panel (App) in the results.

In Control Panel, in the upper right corner of the window where it says "View by:", make sure this is on "Large icons".

Go through each item in Control Panel and see if you can find "HP Audio Control". If not, see if you can find another Audio Control program.

Let me know how you get on.

    Kindest regards,

    Neil
