My Microsoft Lumia is not charging

My Microsoft Lumia 640 XL is picking up the charger but not charging. When I connect the charger, it does show the blinking icon over battery �� but when I check it after few minutes the battery percentage is still the same. I tried restarting the phone but nothing happen.

E.g: My battery is at 2% but when I check it after few hours, it still the same.

    Have you tried using a different charger?

    Try doing a soft reset and see if that helps.

    If it doesn't, connect your phone with your PC with a cable, download Windows Device Recovery Tool and reset the device using it. Remember to make a backup as the tool will wipe everything.
