Programs and MSconfig won't open

Hello,

Whenever I try to open a program(ExpressVPN, Notepad, Winrar, and every video game.) It opens, and then closes immediately, in task manager it says it gets suspended.

I tried to fix the issue by running "sfc /scannow" in cmd prompt but it says it this "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."
I also tried to open MSConfig, but the same thing happens. It opens gets suspended then closes after. A YouTube video brought me to look in the WindowsApps in my C: drive, but my program files were missing when I went to go check.

I've also ran a full Windows anti-virus scan and it has found nothing.

FIX:

The fix to my solution was to disable and or uninstall ASUS GPU TWEAK, it caused almost every application to be broken

    Hello again!

I've found out the issue to my problem. It was ASUS GPU TWEAK II, after closing and disabling the program. I was able to open programs that I wasn't able to open before.

Thanks so much for trying to assist me with my problem, but I figured it out myself.
Have a good day/night, stay safe

Unfortunately, I have not created a restore point in my time of using my computer.
Is resetting my computer the only way of fixing this issue?

Another thing to mention, this has all started after I installed the latest Windows 10 update.

You can also try to go back to a previous point

    • Open Start.
    • Search for Create a restore point, and click the top result to open the System Properties experience.
    • Click the System Restore button.
    • Click the Next button.
    • Select the restore point that you want to use on your computer.
    • Click the Scan for affected programs button to understand the apps that will no longer be available because they're added after the creation of the restore point.
    • Click the Close button.
    • Click the Next button.
    • Click the Finish button.

Hi, I'm Ana M. I would love to help you today.

I recommend that you repair Windows completely, before copying your personal files.
