I have more Microsoft accounts than I can remember. Some were created for only one reason and then never used again.

There is no 'problem' that you need to worry about. Microsoft doesn't care how many Microsoft accounts you have, and neither does it care whether you actually use them. Eventually you will want to settle on one or two that will become your main, day-to-day Microsoft accounts. You can consolidate what you have in many Microsoft accounts into one. If you'd like some help doing that I'll gladly help you.

Is there a particular problem that you're having with your Microsoft accounts?

    Hi Ed589,

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this.

There is no way to merge Microsoft Account data, what you should do is copy all data from OneDrive on each account down onto your PC, if you have other services associated to the other Microsoft Accounts, then copy out the data form those too

Then close all but one Microsoft accounts and copy your data into that account.

(please make sure you have all your data before doing this)

With respect to the Microsoft accounts to which you cannot sign in:

Please keep in mind that a Microsoft account is a cloud account, so it exists on the internet. When you sign in to a Microsoft account on your computer, you are actually signing in to your Microsoft account on the internet.

Go to your Microsoft accounts on the internet, each in turn, by doing this:

    1- Open any web browser.

    2- Navigate to https://account.microsoft.com/account?lang=en-us

3- Enter your Microsoft account username and password

If your username and password are good you'll be looking at your Microsoft account. If you cannot access your Microsoft account, describe exactly what happens along with the full text of any error messages you see.

    Thanks RottweilerX,

Yes, right now I can only login on two of the accounts but those accounts are no good, I want to remove each but not until I get one or two of my previously working Microsoft accounts. It would be great if you could help me do this, or point me to a how-to article. Thanks!

    ~Ed

Thanks Dave, I don't use OneDrive and it has nothing in it so your answer doesn't work for me, and I'm still in trouble. I can't connect to my home network or printers. I appreciate your help.

I have a Microsoft account at ******@wowway.net which I created when I could not sign-in with my @wowway.com. This account (@wowway.net) has no password for verification and doesn't exist. I would like to remove it.

I had a Microsoft account at ******@icloud.com, if I try to sign-in I see that the name of that account has been changed to ******@imail.com. I would like to remove this account but no password for verification.

I have a Microsoft account at ******@gmail.com but when I try to switch to it, or sign-in with it, Microsoft tells me my email address is not available when I have had it and have used it for years. I would like to fix this.

Finally I have a Microsoft account that I've used successfully for years at ******@wowway.com but when I try to switch to it, or sign-in with it, Microsoft tells me my email address is not available when I have had it and have used it for years. I would like to fix this.

My network is setup with my wowway.com email and with my gmail.com email. I don't know why I cannot use them.
