Hi, so im trying to download custom desktop logo for this game I play. While extracting the files I get the error code: 0x800F080C (Invalid Windows feature name has been specified as a parameter). I''ll send the screenshot. If you have any solutions please tell me, thanks!.

    Hi, my name is Claudeir. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

    Error 0X800F080C is linked to system files that are corrupted and .NET framework issues.

    -Windows+R, type: appwiz.cpl, press enter, click on enable or disable Windows features.

    Check the box associated with .NET Framework 3.5, press Ok.

    Wait for the package to install and restart the system.

    Test and see if it solved the problem.

    -Right click on start, run PowerShell(admin) or Command Prompt(admin)

    Copy and paste the following command:

    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    and press Enter.(Note: This step may take a few minutes to start and up to 30 minutes to complete).

    After you see a message saying "The operation completed successfully", copy and paste this command:

    sfc /scannow

    and press Enter.

    Wait for a message that says "Verification 100% complete".

    Test and see if it resolves the issue.

    Hi, thanks for the reply. I went to enable or disable features however I cannot find .Net Framework 3.5. I'll provide an image here.

    I cant download it because when I open it it says invalid windows feature name has been specified as a parameter. Error code 0x800F080C

    What is your version of the system? Windows+R, Winver, press enter.

    -Keep everything up to date with the system (right click start, settings, update and security, check for update. Also visit the video card/mother board/BIOS manufacturer's website to see if there are any drivers to update)

    After upgrading, look again like I showed you the first time, and see if it's possible to install the .NET Framework 3.5 package.
