AsusVivobook 2021 model running fully up to date version of Windows 10

Does anyone know specifically what the error message means and how I can get DTS working again on my laptop

Thank you

I found a solution! Search for "Services" in the Windows menu, then look for "DtsApo4Service" under the "Name" field. (The status of this service did not say "Running" for me.) Right click this and hit "Start", so that the Status is now "Running". Then reopen DTS Audio Processing and it should work again.

    Hope this helps.

Bro first uninstall the DTS Audio Processing App.

Then go to Device Manager and from there in the sound, video and game controllers uninstall the realtek and Intel sound drivers(My was AMD in the case).

Then download the latest drivers from the links given below

    Realtek Drivers - https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/Image/Driver/Audio/22754/Audio_DriverOnly_DTS_DCH_Realtek_Z_V6.0.9136.1_22754.exe

    Intel Sound Drivers - https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/Image/Driver/Audio/22138/iSST_DCH_Intel_Z_V10.29.00.4842_22138.exe

    DTS Driver - https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/Image/Driver/Audio/23467/DTSAPOdriver_DCH_ALL_Xperi_Z_V1.6.105.0_23467.exe

Install these drivers and restart your PC

Then download the DTS Audio Processing App - https://www.microsoft.com/store/apps/9P2KLRFTZQHQ?tp=RHJpdmVyTm90ZWJvb2s=

Then you are good to go.

This Worked for my Vivobook KM413 AMD Ryzen model and may also work for you.

    Good Day MichaelBennett1963,

I appreciate your time getting back to this thread, try to uninstall the DTS application in your computer.

Once uninstalled, restart your computer and go to this link below and download the updated application.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/dts-audio-pro...

Once downloaded and installed, restart your computer and try to open the app.

If issue persists, try to reach out to Asus, because it states in your manufacturers website that the DTS app is currently supporting this models.

    FX506/ FX706 series (ASUS TUF Gaming F15/ F17),and FA506/ FA706 series (ASUS TUF Gaming A15/ A17) ROG Gaming laptops.
