Hi
I've just moved addresses and taken my Broadband Service Provider with me.
After 3 weeks and 2 visits by engineers who tell me that the connection to my house is perfect and they are unable to find anything wrong with my internet I keep losing service every 2 minutes with the error message on my browser.
ERR_INTERNET_DISCONNECTED
i'm sure it's a Windows 10 or PC issue and not my Broadband ISP.
Can anyone help. I've been down all the usual avenues that google and YouTube offer but am still experiencing this issue
HELP!

    Hi Elise
    Thanks
Phone works fine on WIFI with no issues.
Tablet works fine on WIFI with no issues.
I can stream from my PC to my TV with no issues and I can watch live TV on my PC with no issues but if I go on any websites just to read my broadband drops in and out every 2 minutes,
    Very weird.
I've already got rid of Avast anti virus and Firefox browser but still same issue.

    I'm using chrome browser

Try resetting the network connections. Open PowerShell or CMD and run as administrator, copy and paste the following commands by pressing enter at the end of each command line:

    netsh winsock reset

    netsh int ip reset

    netsh advfirewall reset

    netsh winhttp>reset proxy

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    ipconfig /flushdns

Restart the computer at the end of all commands.

Hi, I'm Elise, an Independent Advisor and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

Do you have any other devices such as phones or tablets which you can test the internet connection with? This will determine if the PC is causing the issue or the internet connection.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise

That is quite strange, can you check your PC manufacturers website and see if there are any updates network adaptor drivers your can download/install, then see if this resolves the issue?

    Kind Regards,

    Elise
