Hi,
Is there any possibility to include i7-4810MQ CPU in the Windows11 support list?

There are a lot of lower performance processor that are supported. I don't see any technical reason to exclude a lot of computer equipped with these kind of processor.

Thank you
Sal

    Hi there,

Windows is testing on the new processors for compatibility to add them to the supported list for Windows 11. The important parameter in processor selection is DCH principle.

Driver packages that are DCH-compliant contain an INF file and binaries that install and run on Universal Windows Platform (UWP)-based editions of Windows 10. They also install and run on other editions of Windows 10 that share a common set of interfaces.

Hopefully, your processor will be added in the future.

    Hi @Sal ,

maybe you could give this feedback directly to Microsoft using the Feedback Hub app.
As far as I know the feedback given in the app is actively monitored by Microsoft.

This is explained in the MS blog, posted 150 000 times : Update on Windows 11 minimum system requirements
