Hello,
The problem with my laptop is that it is not showing the ready boost tab in USB properties. I installed updates, formatted the USB drive but, I still didn't get my problem solved. Here is an image so that you can know how it looks like:

Thank you for that screenshot, on that laptop, you have a super fast M.2 2230 solid-state drive and that is why you do not have the ReadyBoost option on USB drives, because access to virtual memory on the SSD is much faster than USB access.
Hello, I did these things but I still can't see the ready boost tab. My friend's laptop has 16 GB RAM installed and he still has the ready boost tab present.
Although he is facing this problem, the ready boost tab is still present in the properties menu.

I am Dave, I will help you with this.
Microsoft have basically deprecated that ReadyBoost functionality, because most devices these days have an SSD not an old HDD.
If you have an SSD, then ReadyBoost would be turned off by default, because SSD drive access is so much faster than USB drive access and it is far more efficient to use virtual memory on the SSD rather than USB access to ReadyBoost and to be honest, ReadyBoost never really resulted in better system performance.
You have 8GBB of RAM, which if you use your system for normal use is plenty of RAM, unless you play games, do you play large games on that system?

Generally what makes a PC slow is what is running on your PC (software), if there is too much running that will make your PC slow
Do you have a 3rd party security suite, or Anti-virus running on your PC?
If so, that is the usual cause of slow Windows, download the removal tool the developers of that security suite provide and uninstall it form your PC, then restart your PC and let Windows Security protect you
If you have any other utilities like a Registry cleaner or PC cleaner . . .etc. uninstall those form your PC
Turn off all unnecessary startup applications and processes:
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager
Click on the Startup Tab
See any non-essential items are listed there
If so, select and click 'Disable'
Close Task Manager
Click your Start Button, type msconfig and hit Enter
When the System Configuration dialog opens, click on the Services Tab
Check the box marked 'Hide Microsoft Services'
In the remaining list, see any non-essential items are listed there, uncheck any you find
Click Apply and OK
Turn off all unnecessary Background Apps
Open the Settings App
Go to Privacy - Background Apps
Turn off any App you do not need running in the background
Restart your PC
No, I didn't play any games on this laptop. But it still is really slow as I have many editing installed on this laptop.
