How to cleanup Azure Backup job status - "In Progress" and "Failed" status in Vault, but running fine in MARS

I have a non-Azure Server (on Premise - Win2012) running MARS Agent for Backup of Files and Folders.
The Backup appears to be running normally (Server Perspective) -- using the agent software on server the backup jobs completes daily.

BUT - the Recovery Services Vault reports it differently.
I am getting a job "failed" every day (from the Azure Portal view of the Backup Jobs in the Vault).
I have a 3 week old job for the Server showing as "in progress" and i cannot cancel this via Portal.
The Backup Items view (in Vault) is correctly updating with the latest recovery point, even though the over all status is showing as "Failed" for that backup item.

  1. How can i cancel the long term job showing "in progress" in the vault (its NOT in progress according to the MARS Agent on the Server).
  2. How can i get the MARS agent status correctly updating in the vault ?

@Stephen Beer The fix for orphan jobs on portal was made from Agent side. The current version is 2.0.9223.0. Kindly download the latest version and let us know how it goes.
