microsoft photos fullscreen problem

When I open an image, it opens the photos app and as try to go full screen, the picture does not expand and feels like they just simply hid the tools or buttons. But if I open the Photos app first and click the same image and go full screen, the image will expand up to the end of the corners of my monitor display which is actually full screen.

Did I miss something on my update or I have to fix my settings? Please tell me if I am not clear enough. Thank you.

    Hi Francis,

I'm Dave, I'll help you with this.

This is a widely reported bug in the latest Photo update, many people have reported the same problem, hopefully Microsoft will fix this update soon because there is nothing wrong with your computer, we have to wait for them to resolve it.

The best option is to open the Feedback Hub (Windows Key + F) and report it there, the more people report this problem, the sooner it will be fixed.
