Hello there,

First of all, thank you to all who take their time with all patience to offer helpful service to us.

Now i can leave my question: I really need help with this error I have been having for more than 5 months now. I have been trying to update windows but to no success.

I tried looking up similar questioned that are answered on this forum, but to no success either. I have tried troubleshooting, several restarts, using command prompt, uninstalling all other antiviruses, full scan, and even deleting all the videos on the computer and some other huge files.... BUT " the 2021-05 cumulative update for windows 10 version 1909 for x86-based systems( KB5003169) does not update to this day." So it installs all the way to a 100%, then It gives an Error 0x80070017.

The message: there was a problem installing updates, but we'll try again later.

This has been going on for 5 months plus.

I have found some answered questions on this error ( 0x80070017) but still, I couldn't succed with the update.

I even tried manually installing updates by downloading from catalog website, but it didn't work either. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, neither do I know what to do.

Please anybody - somebody help.

Thank you in advance.

I tried everything you recommended, and it worked with the Microsoft tool I downloaded from the link that you sent. I am asking myself why I took so long to post a question for my problem. I appreciate your help.
