Is there a way to disable or remove the "Copy Command" and or the Clipboard

I am running WIN10 Pro version 2009 on a Laptop. I am currently locking it down (hardening it). I would like to know if there is a way I can disable the "clipboard" all together so NO data is stored there and or disable the "copy command" from the right click context menu and the ctrl+c. Trying to prevent users from copying anything from an external DVD when used.

It's not possible to remove the copy command or disable the clipboard, neither for specific applications nor globally.

Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you want to remove clipboard history

Removing clipboard history will also delete the copied texts. Please refer to the steps given below:

Open Windows Settings (Windows + I)
Go to System
On the left pane, scroll down the list and select Clipboard
On the right pane, under Clear clipboard data, select Clear
You may also turn the toggle to Off for Clipboard history
You may also turn off Sync across devices if not required
