there is this program or what ever they claim it to be called system requirements labs for showing game requirements, and I'm getting convinced that its a virus or Trojan because I can remove it. the method the give to remove is so blatantly stupid and the very tool they give can even detect the program to remove it. I want to remove it at first because it is showing in accurate reading of my system, and I'm realizing my system is behaving strangely by using a very high CPU usage when completely idle. this thing is the only thing I have installed, well third party thing I have installed and since this entire endeavor of trying to uninstall this program have been near impossible, I want it off my laptop. plz help

    Hi vosaci

Rest assured, that is correct, I scanned that file, it is not dangerous, it is just a file to read and store your system information into a cookie for that website, that file is absolutely no harm at all.

    Hi vosaci

Okay I went through the process, downloaded that Detection.exe file and it seems to check your system and upload your device details to their website, then there must be a cookie shored on your PC that the site can read every time you access that website, there is no program installed on your PC

If you clear all browser data, like cache and cookies, then restart your PC, then check if that website can still read your system information.

    Hi vosaci,

Can you please provide a screenshot of that, I tried that website, they cannot access my system info, unless they stored your system info in their database somehow.

    Hi vosaci,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

System Requirements Lab Detection does not have a good reputation and it is not required on your PC

You can use the free version of Revo Uninstaller, it is very good at removing even the most stubborn software that Windows 10 cannot uninstall.
