It gets to that screen for a half second goes black pops back up rinse and repeat. Pressing F2 does nothing. Pressing FN+F2 makes the screen flash a little but nothing more. BIOS is completely unaccessible. My brother bought this laptop new and used it purely as his own personal computer
Lenovo stuck in a boot loop
So I’m not too sure if this is a common issue but my brother gave me his old Lenovo laptop a while ago and said if you can fix it it’s yours. It’s been years now. So what’s been happening with it is it starts booting up says “Lenovo” with like the boot options at the bottom and then after a half second maybe turns black. The computer is still on but goes black and then it goes through this whole flashing boot loop type thing and I’ve never been able to figure it out. BIOS and the “MultiBoot menu” are completely inaccessible and I’ve tried doing the startup and power down 3-4 times thing and still nothing. Seems like this is a Lenovo B575 with AMD running windows 7 Thank you in advance for any help!

2021-09-16T15:40:33+00:00 This is a little like an auto. Difficult to know for sure all the things that may be wrong with it. However, if are willing to invest some time and a few bucks, you may be able to get it running, if the problems are not serious hardware issues.
First, you will need to be able to read the Microsoft sticker on the machine. It has a 25 character code called the Microsoft Product Key. You also have to know what edition (home, pro, 32, 64) was on it coming from the factory -- that is the licence it owns.
Then you will have to find a Windows 7 install disk for that edition -- brand name on the disk matters little.
Then the most likely cause of the problem is a failed hard drive. So, it would be wise to invest in a new one. You can find them for $50 to $100. Replace it.
Then insert the install DVD and try to do an install.

2021-09-16T05:48:20+00:00 You don't just decide to install Windows 10 on a Windows 7 machine.
If you want a Windows 7 ISO:
Use the Windows 7 (August 2018) download option
Download the correct ISO file and make your own disk and use the Product Key that is on the COA Sticker.
Download: Windows ISO Downloader.exe

Also see if the Lenovo Recovery partition is still intact.
Press F11 at Boot to see if it is still exeistent

2021-09-16T05:31:34+00:00 If you can access the BIOS, then you have to repair Windows using an iso.
To access the bios, you need to press FN and F2 at the same time. Windows 7 is discontinued and the official iso has been removed so create a Windows 10 or 8.1 bootable USB. Use an empty USB with at least 8GB of space. you can do this on another PC.

Boot using the USB and select your language. then click repair my PC. choose startup repair. after it fixed the problem, restart your PC.
