Windows 10 Boot Repair

When I try to turn my computer on, I get a screen saying "Windows failed to start" and that I should restart and insert and install disc. So I bought a new install of windows 10 Pro, plugged it into my computer, and set it as the first and second boot option (one option was the UEFI option). But I don't get an option to repair, just to setup windows in either 64 or 32 bit, but when I try to choose one of those it says it is loading files, flashes the windows logo then restarts.

Do you have a download link for version 1903 and 1909? My computer was on one of those version.

    I don't have one.

But if you want to repair your current installation, the 21H1 ISO (the one that will be written to the USB) will work.

First recheck the installation Windows 10 format your using is not damaged or the disc not scratched by testing it on another computer not entering the key to install it.

if that ok proceed to the next steps.

check you configuration in the bios i mean all the configuration refer to your manual for the motherboard and online as well.

Once that ruled out look how you have configured the hard drive. i.e was it fdisk for 32 bit operating system for hard drives under and up to 2 terabyte using MSR or is it disk part for 3 terabytes and above and was it tabled in their partition correctly leaving small partition for system recover and health files.

refer to diskpart commands for this operation. use a web link like this How to Use Diskpart to Recovery Partition in Windows 10, 8 or 7?

If desktop computer and you are able too remove the side cover to expose all the hardware and cabling.

Note where each cable is connected to and how each component is seated upon the motherboard.

(photo on mobile phone is great resource to refer back to otherwise note pad and pen)

You need to first check to ensure the computer rams sticks are firmly and properly seated in their slots do this one at a time boot each time to ensure each stick is boot the computer also refer to your motherboard on the correct way each ram is to boot up in the slot especially the newer motherboards.

If computer is Z490 and above make sure you have cpu liquid fan pump installed and correctly hooked up a hot cpu will cause sudden shutdowns, restarts and installation issues.

Keep doing this until you are confident your hardware is not the issue.

    then retry the installation.
