Please check the BIOS settings first. Does it show several disk drives.
Is this PC factory made or was assembled at home or in the shop? Can you show the recipe of this PC?
If it is factory made ask for clarification from manufacturer support.

Hello, I've gotten a new desktop fairly recently, and I've just noticed that it's missing a D: Drive. I decided to check disc management to find that I only have a C: Drive, and two unknown Disc 0's that don't appear to be doing anything. I've tried various things, but nothing seems to work. This is an issue for me, as it decreases the space on my computer quite a bit- I have no idea what the issue could be, so now I'm here. Below is a screenshot of my disc management page.

Hi Vandeer,
My name is Igor, I have 12 Microsoft MVP awards. It's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you. I'm sorry you have a problems.
Disk D: not necessarily presents in PC. Usually it presence means a presence of the second hard drive or splitting single hard drive to two data partitions.
Two partitions without letter you see are technical partitions needed for correct installation and usage.
If you want to have disk D: you may:
a) to reduce disk C: size and create disk D on emptied space - I do not recommand this,
b) to buy another hard drive, install it to PC, initialise and format it, use it as disk D:
Hi Vandeer00 -
I'm Kevin B., I do apologize for the inconvenience that you're experiencing right now, let me help you sort things out.
Do you have a D drive before? Is this a Laptop or a Desktop?
Based on the screenshot provided, it appears that the windows only detects the one disk drive on your computer in which the windows is installed. If this is a desktop computer, kindly check and secure the connection of the D drive from the motherboard.
If the windows does not detect the D drive on your computer, chances is that the connection of the hard drive to the motherboard was loose which disconnects the hard drive to the windows.
Also, kindly perform the steps below and take a screenshot of the result
Open the command prompt as administrator
Type the command below and press enter after each command
diskpart
List disk
Take a screenshot of the result and post it on your next response
Hope this will help and have a bless day!
Thanks.
Kevin B.

I'm pretty positive it came with a D drive, I just think it's unplugged somehow. Can you give me any instructions on how to approach this?
