Hi everyone, this is the issue that I am having with games when I alt tab out and back into the games, the games run at lower fps in less I can at+enter or manually change the game from full screen to windowed back to full screen to have my fps return to normal. This video shows exactly what I am talking about so you guys have a better idea about what the issue exactly is if you chose to help me out. If you do watch the video try leaving a comment on how I could fix the issue, thank you.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPbWG-Z_pJQ Also when playing ATS my Logitech software for the game dose not recognize ATS as a actual game and dose not use the supported profile for playing the game, only has occurred after a recent windows update.

I have update my Nvidia graphics drivers and the problem still occurs, I have uninstalled the drivers and just used the windows drivers and the issues still occur.

Please help and,

Thank you

I had this exact issue on Windows 11 (clean install) playing WoW on one monitor and having another program open on the other monitor. When I would tab over to the 2nd monitor, both programs would lag. This answer worked for me. Microsoft, please fix the widget.

Not sure if it helps with fps drops in ETS but you can try this solution: try to disable weather widget in taskbar that couses issues when you using alt+tab in games. (it was resently added in Windows with update). The widget can't be seen when taskbar is on a top or in corners. Try to disable it by moving taskbar to bottom -> right click on taskbar - >"News and interests" -> Turn Off.

Hello, I'm Jan and I'm happy to help you today. Try cleaning the Nvidia graphics drivers and disable all startup applications. Make sure Windows and all drivers are updated as well.

    1. Download the latest Nvidia graphics driver from the manufacturer's support website. Run the installer and then select "run clean install"

Once the driver is installed, restart your computer.

If that didn't work. Try the older version of the driver then select "run clean install" again

    1. Disable unnecessary applications programs that are running from the startup

    Try these steps.

    Press CTRL+ALT+Delete

    Then click on Task Manager

    Then Navigate to Startup Tab

( from there you can Disable unnecessary applications running from the startup)

Or perform a Clean Boot to disable unnecessary boot and services. A "clean boot" starts Windows with a minimal set of startup programs, allowing you to determine if a background program is interfering with your game or program.

    1. Clean graphics driver using DDU. Then install the latest or older version of the graphics drivers.

Run the application from Safe mode.

    Select Clean and restart

    Once the drivers are uninstalled

Install the latest Graphics Card driver
