"Your Phone" App error - "Your Windows version needs an update"

I'm donot no to update

Windows 10 is version is 1809 OS Build 17763.1879 which, according to THIS PAGE, is April 13, 2021.

"Restore" is not an option. There is "Repair" and "Reset." I chose "Reset," deleted my computer from the app, and re-initiated the link. All is working now. Thanks for your suggestions.

Dear Andy_S.,what version is running on your PC?

To find out, click on the Windows search bar and type: winver and press Enter;

In that case I recommend trying to restore the Your Phone app;

Press Windows key + I and access Applications;

Select Your Phone and click Advanced Options;

Scroll down and click restore;

After doing this check if the problem is fixed;

Thank you for your quick reply. The Windows 10 update that is stated as required is "May 2019" (two years ago). My PC is corporately managed, and has all recent updates installed. I cannot run updates manually; however, as in the screen shot in my initial post, Windows shows "up to date."

Windows Store shows the Your Phone app as up to date (see below).

Do you have any more ideas?

I understand the system is asking you to have the May 10 update;

Initially I recommend that you try to update manually via the update wizard:

BPlease access the link above and click Update Now;

After updating your system, go to the Microsoft Store and try to update your apps:

Open the Microsoft Store and click (...) in the upper right corner of the screen and go to Downloads and updates;

Click Get Updates;

Wait until all apps are updated;

Then try opening the Your Phone app again;
