Machine Check Exception - Cache Hierarchy Error

Hello,

I have recently built a PC with AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU. About 4 months ago it started to randomly black screen and restart without any error message on the screen. It only happens when idling or when the PC is going asleep or shutting down. Every time this error happens (about once a month, although it happened 4 times in the past 5 days) it makes 2 entries in the Event Viewer:

A fatal hardware error has occurred.

Reported by component: Processor Core

Error Source: Machine Check Exception

Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error

Processor APIC ID: 0 (this number is 0 in both Event Viewer entries but sometimes it's 0 in one entry and 1 in the other entry)

The details view of this entry contains further information.

I have XMP (DOCP) disabled, all BIOS settings are default and the CPU is on stock clock speed. Most people with this error RMA the CPU but I want to try other options before the RMA. Some people fixed it by changing the voltage. I don't know much about voltage and the terms used (Vcore, VID) so I'm asking for help before I accidentally damage the CPU.

I installed the KB5003637 update 5 days ago (when the errors started appearing more frequently). The first error happened before the installation of this update and the restart after the error caused the installation of this update so I don't think the update is the reason behind it (the first error occurred -> the PC got restarted -> it immediately started installing the update)

Desktop

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

Motherboard: Asrock B450 Steel Legend

BIOS Version: P3.20

RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance 3200 Mhz CL16

OS: Windows 10 2004 19041.1052

Thank you for your help
