Does my Ryzen 5600 laptop compatible with Windows 11 without discrete TPM

Hello.

My laptop is Lenovo Ideapad 3 5500U.

The seller told me that this laptop doesn't support TPM so it will not be able to upgrade into Windows 11. But I believe that the cpu has already included fTPM so the laptop really can install Windows 11. Although the PC Health check said that my laptop doesn't have TPM 2.0.
I am considering buying a USB flash drive for installing Windows 11 from an ISO file.

Please help me confirm whether my laptop can install Windows 11 this way or not.

Thank you very much!

    Hello everyone.

I am here to confirm that this Laptop doesn't have dedicated TPM but the CPU has fTPM (which is called AMD PSP) so it can simple be installed Windows 11. After few days enabling AMD PSP on the bios, the Windows 10 has automatically installed TPM driver on Device Manager. And now it said "Your device is ready to install Windows 11".
Sometimes the seller doesn't understand about the machine they sold.

It can be installed Windows 11.

    Thank you all for helping.

    Hi TaigamaZ

    Sorry, I was offline

The only thing blocking the upgrade is TPM 2.0, that is either missing or disabled, boot your system into BIOS, on the Security tab do you see the option to enable TPM?

    Hello TaigmaZ,

I have looked at the AMD support page on the Ryzen 5 5500U, it shows Windows 11 compatbile.

    https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-ryzen-processors/amd-ryzen-5-mobile-processors-radeon-graphics/amd-ryzen-5-5500u

Can you try going to System, Recovery, Advanced restart, press "restart".

When in Blue screen page, click advanced, choose UEFI, then go to your BIOS.

I am not sure where in the BIOS would be the advanced menu to enable TPM, it depends on the OEM.

Can you share your model number?

    Thanks,

    Shawn
