I am using the Dell 5480 with i7-7820HQ processor and my laptop meets all the requirements for windows 11.

i7-7820HQ is in the list of supported processors by windows 11 but still why pc health app showing "This processor isn't currently supported for windows 11"

Please Microsoft or Dell do something so that i or people like me will be able to upgrade to windows 11 officially when it arrives.

Thankyou.

Enable secure boot and change your disk type to GPT

Convert MBR to GPT with MBR2GPT Tool in Windows 10 V1703 or … (partitionwizard.com)

Then, see if the installation assistant allows you to upgrade.

    Hi

Even if your CPU is supported, check the compatible processor list.

Windows processor requirements Windows 11 supported Intel processors | Microsoft Docs

Even though it's listed there, a [1] is typed there, whose definition is given as:

And those select devices include only 2:

    Dell Precision 5520
    Surface Studio 2

If your computer one of these 2?

If not, unfortunately, your CPU is not compatible to run Windows 11.

But you can run the installation assistant and see if it tells the same.

I have disabled the secure boot. I was not aware of the partition but maybe it can be fixed.

It is showing processor compatible but in pc health it shows not compatible maybe it's because of that modern driver stuff, I hope Dell pull an update for the drivers of latitude 5480.

Then, your CPU is incompatible with Windows 11.
