I have a surface Pro with the Processor Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) m3-7Y30 CPU @ 1.00GHz 1.61 GHz Installed RAM 4.00 GB.

When I use the Health Check Program It says that the CPU check failed.

HOWEVER, when I check the list of accepted processor from : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/windows-processor-requirements My Windows version and Intel Processor :

Windows 10 21H1 Supported Intel Processors

The Processor shows in the list.:

Intel® Core™ m3-7Y30

Why Does the health Check fail for the Processor then? Thus not allowing me to Upgrade to 11.

    Hi Zakk4U,

Good day! This is Jhakesong and I will be happy to assist you with this.

I am sorry to hear about the inconvenience. You are correct, your processor qualifies for Windows 10 21H1, unfortunately though, Windows 11 does not support it. That is the reason why when running the PC health check for compatibilty issues it did not qualify for a Windows 11 upgrade.

Here is the link for the supported processors in Windows 11 (It supports 8th Generation processors onwards, Intel:registered:Core:tm:m3-8100Y is a listed example):

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardwa...

Reference thread of users who have the same processor on their computer trying to upgrade to Windows 11:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questi...

Let me know how it goes. Have a great day!
