How to install again the Battery drivers? Microsoft AC Adapter and Microsoft ACPI - Compliant Control Method Battery

Hello,

I accidentally unistalled (instead of disabled) the two battery drivers on my Lenovo PC: the Microsoft AC Adapter and Microsoft ACPI - Compliant Control Method Battery.

I did it from Device Manager.

I restarted the PC but it didn't automatically reinstalled the drivers, and now I can't see nor control any of the battery features: it's really as if the battery is not seen by the machine, so I can't regulate the use of the battery nor see the percentage etc...

In Device Manager there is no more Battery Section.

Where can I download the drivers?

What should I do?

Thank You in advance for the help

    Good Day MaryFlox97,

I appreciate your time getting back to this thread, that driver came from your manufacturers website itself, under Power Management.

    https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/lap...

If the issue persists, perform Repair Upgrade, it will repair and replace any corrupted system files.

Step 1: Download Media Creation Tool from Microsoft.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

    Click “Download Tool Now”

    Step 2: Run MediaCreationTool.exe.

Step 3: Choose "Upgrade this PC now".

Step 4: Select "Keep personal files and apps".

    Step 5: Let it install

Once done restart your computer and download and install the driver from your manufacturers website.

I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.

    Thank you!

I tried by downloading it and make it work, but it doesn't install anything, as it is not executing it. It says it is installed but then it is not, even if after I restart the pc.

Is there any other way you think?

Thank you so much for the support!
