i would have to disagree, it is easy to back things up sure. but a windows installation assistant should never do a thing like this... because its impossible and you should know that its impossible. there is no way in hell that windows is capable of pulling files and data that was deleted out of its ****, uninstall software or delete files. if any of these things were something that could happen there would be a warning... or other poeple would have the same issue. Sure, things do happen... but not this. the other day i bricked my pc and fixed it with no problem at all. so you cant try to tell me that this windows installation was the death of my pc lmao. I have now solved the issue, ill tell you what I did so that your better educated and next time could help somone out rather than tell them they **** up and that tell them what they should have done than trying to help them. atleast the other guy here tryed to help.
the problem was that after the update, my pc started to boot off the wrong drive which had the old installation of windows on it. I have no doubt in my mind that you would have thought of that had you given the issue some thought. so i dont think your stupid or usless... just next time... help the person or dont say anything at all. you can always give some suggestions for what to do in the future after solving the issue...
