Hey Jerico ! Thanks for the suggestions but they didn't work. I'm very limited because everything fails or is corrupted. I had tried the Microsoft Tool but at the end it fails. DISM and System File Checker fail as well in the Administrative Command. I cant make any progress because nothing really works. Just keeps on saying failed to run due to corrupted or unreadable file.
Windows Update That Caused Corrupted Files.
Hi I recently just did a feature and quality update for Windows 10 that has my computer messed up. I tried all the common solutions. DISM, System Restore, Troubleshooters, Restarting Windows, etc. None worked. I get an error code or a message saying a file is corrupted or unreadable. I even tried the Windows Tool with no success. My computer was completely fine before this update and now I'm worried it cant be fixed. Not even trying to reset without saving any personal files works. All I get is that the task has failed. Please someone help. Every option I find in hopes of saving my pc gets crossed out. I no longer know what to do and will appreciate any help. Thanks in advance !

2021-09-05T18:58:09+00:00 Thank you Jerico ! Even though I was timid to attempt the Custom Install due to the lack of being tech savvy it worked ! I managed to be thorough about the whole process and have been doing an all nighter setting up my programs again. I rather have my computer back to it's factory set than to have a bunch of error codes. Thank you once again !

2021-09-05T09:12:09+00:00 So my computer doesn't have the capabilities to run a DVD. I have a Recovery USB from Digital Storm which is where I brought my computer from. I have tried to boot my computer with the USB in which it failed. I tried again to open the setup.exe on the USB but it no longer opened. I can only hope it didn't get corrupted too.

2021-09-05T08:33:36+00:00 Hi KG1412 -
I'm Jerico T., I understand that you're having some issues right now and I'd be more than happy to help you today.
Please try to perform the methods below and check if any of the methods will fix your computer.
Method 1: In-Place Repair (disregard if you already done this and proceed to method 2)
- In-place repair/upgrade or repair reinstall is a process of re-installing Windows without touching any of your applications or personal files. In this way if there's any data corruption, damaged system files or missing system files on your computer, this repair will fix or repair them.
To start we need to download an ISO file of Windows 10 and save it to your computer. Please follow the instruction on the link below to create an ISO file
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/402819...
After the ISO is created, follow the instructions on the link below created by PaulSey, Microsoft Agent, on how to perform repair install on your computer.
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/for...
This process will take some time to complete so you need to be very patient in waiting until the process completes. Once done , restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.
Method 2: Custom Install
- a process wherein you will reinstall windows (latest version) on your computer using an ISO file and once the setup is done, you can recover your personal data/files on Windows.old folder. If you wish to proceed, please click the link below and follow the steps provided.

Feel free to reach back if you need any further assistance.
Hope this help. Have a good day.
Thank you,
Jerico T.
