How can I speed up the playback of video in Movies and TV?

Windows 10 suggests we move away from WMP to the Movies and TV app. But how can I speed up the playback of a video? Only temporary faster playback. I saw many search results showing how to do it in other apps and in Windows Media Player - but nothing on how to do it in Movies and TV app?

    Hello KarenVosloo, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

    Unfortunately Movies and TV does not have the capability to speed up playback speed;

    You can only go forward 30 seconds or go back 10 seconds;

    If you want to use this feature to speed up playback, use Windows Media Player;

    I hope I have helped, see you soon!

    Thanks Luiz - you confirmed what I thought. But how can Microsoft want us to move to Movies and TV when they do not even offer such a basic feature?
