Free/busy from on-premise account to cloud-only account in Exchange Hybrid

Hi everybody,

We are having a full hybride working good at a customer on Exchange 2016 latest CU. The most users are still on-prem and a couple are in Exchange Online, free/busy is working in both directions.

BUT.....

There are also a couple of cloud-only users on the M365 tenant. They can see free/busy for on-prem users but on-prem users can't see free/busy for cloud-only users.

I can imagine this is by design because the cloud-only user doesnt have a active directory object on-prem. But the customer wants on-prem users also to see the free/busy for cloud-only users.

Is this possible without 3rd party tools?

    You could follow this article to narrow down this one: Free/busy information can't be retrieved from one environment

    Have a check whether Exchange on-premises Organization Sharing correct. You need configure those information below:

    Domains to share with: yourdomain.mail.onmicrosoft.com, mail.yourdomain.onmicrosoft.com, yourdomain.onmicrosoft.com (If there exist customize domain, you also need to add it)  
      
    Application URI: outlook.com  
      
    Autodiscover endpoint: https://autodiscover-s.outlook.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.svc/WSSecurity
