"Why will this processor Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700T CPU @ 2.90GHz, 2904 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s) not be able to run windows 11? WINDOWS" After running the "PC Health Check" for Windows 11 Compatability, i found that my PC 's processor is no longer compatable. ? Why I exceed all of the requirements except for the processor.

    You are welcome.. I hope they work for you should you try an upgrade or installation..

    My machines are working flawlessly so far, but I suppose that could change..

    If Microsoft objects to the workarounds strongly enough, I suppose they could find ways to screw things up in the future..

    I think there is a hidden Secrets that few security feature is not available in many 7th gen processors.

    I am trying to find out.

    I will understood your points.

    Please try to find the data sheet or technical specifications of 7th gen processors and 8th gen processors.

    So that we will find out.

    In meanwhile , microsoft windows 11 team reconsider of 7th gen processors for Full testing..

    I don't know what will happen ,when windows 12 releasing time minimum processor is 11th gen or newer .

    Hi Raju,

    I would like to help you on your quest, I am able to run VBS, Secure Boot, UEFI, TPM 2.0, well that is what is mentioned in the Micorsoft Mechanics video.

    I do get the point that security is very important as Windows needs to stand up as a good OS that is working hard to protect users and it has a bad repuration sadly for malware.

    If Micorsoft is revaluating the procssors, they will make sure they test it fully, work with Intel and Amd to make drivers than offically release a new statment, and a udpate list. They wont' update anything until they are sure it will work and it is all good.
