I accidently click on "always open with..." on a .SAV file type and now I can't save with that file type

The problem is as the tittle states: Additional info, when I go to save a .SAV file, it just open up with "How do you want to save open this file".

Am I unable to save .SAV file type anymore from this and would just have to open it with something compatible like word press then save it?

    Hello GunnarTorres,

    Good day! I'm John Dev a Windows user like you and I'll be happy to assist you today. I know this has been difficult for you, Rest assured, I'm going to do my best to help you.

    Please try the method below if it helps.

    Open File Explorer

    Click the View tab then check the box "File name Extensions"

    After that, close File Explorer

    Right-click on an empty space on your Desktop

    Select New > Text Document

    Right click the Text file then select rename

    Change the file extension from .txt to .exe

    Click Yes to confirm the change

    Right click the .sav file, Choose open with > Choose another app

    Make sure to check the box "Always use this app to open .sav file"

    Click More Apps then scroll at the bottom and select "Look for another app on this PC"

    Find and select the dummy exe file on your Desktop and click Ok

    It will not open and this is expected

    Delete the dummy exe file and safely restart your computer

    Check if the issue is resolved

    It did actually help thank you. However there's a new annoying superficial problem that is occurring, that is that every time I would save a .sav file, it would still say "you need an new app to open this file". Regardless it still saves/downloads so it just an annoyance, but is there a solution for this?
