Delayed wifi connection on startup

My wifi used to connect almost instantly on startup. Recently it has started taking 1 min after startup before it will connect automatically. It can connect instantly manually by either unchecking and checking "connect automatically" or by hitting "connect". It just wont do it automatically without a long delay. I am on Windows 10 Home, Version 20H2, build 19042.1165. The following is a list of things I have tried once or many times without any success:

  1. Uninstall, reinstall, update wireless network adapter driver multiple times. Updated BIOS.
  2. Forget wireless SSID and reconnect multiple times
  3. Run network troubleshooter.
  4. Uncheck "allow computer to turn off this device to save power"
  5. Fast startup is unchecked.
  6. Ran the following:
    netsh winsock reset.
    netsh int ip reset.
    ipconfig /release.
    ipconfig /renew.
    ipconfig /flushdns.
  7. Ran network reset
  8. Ran sfc /scannow
  9. Remove/replace files from Wlansvc directory
  10. Uninstalled and reinstalled last round of Microsoft updates when I thought the problem may have began.
  11. Performed a clean boot.
  12. Replaced my router.

I have a windows 7 computer and android phone that have no problem connecting automatically much quicker. Ive seen other posts about this problem but don't think anyone has figured out the root cause. Any suggestions appreciated.

9-12-21 - Turned my computer on this morning and for whatever reason it connected instantly. Thought maybe it fixed itself but it has not worked again since.

Thanks for the reply. I have a Dell Inspiron 3670. There is no non-Microsoft antivirus software installed or running. I tried uninstalling a couple Windows updates when I thought the problem began but that did not help so I reinstalled them. WLAN autoconfig was set for automatic (not automatic delayed).
