How do I get TPM 2.0 on a computer that I built myself?

I have the full version of Win 10 Home edition installed on a new PC that I recently built myself.  When looking into a Win 11 upgrade, the PC Health Checking App tells me that TPM 2.0 must be supported and enabled & there is no TPM detected.  Several help files that I have looked at, all say to get assistance from the PC's manufacturer for specific instructions.  Since I am the manufacturer, I don't know where to begin.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Here is the basic info for my PC, if that matters :

Motherboard  -  Gigabyte B450 AORUS PRO WIFI

CPU  -  AMD Ryzen 7   3700X

Memory - Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro

you have go into your bios to enable tpm

Go to BIOS and find the item "Security Device Support" to enable TPM 2.0. – If your BIOS features, you'll find "Security Device Support" in "Settings\Security\Trusted Computing". Enable AMD CPU fTPM” on an AMD motherboard.

    Hello how are you?

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community!

My name is Marcelo C., I am an independent consultant, I am here to help you in the best possible way :)

First of all I recommend that you check your mother card; processor has the tpm 2.0. According to your specification I am almost 100% sure that he does have this module.

to check press the button windows+r and type the command tpm.msc

this command will show what tpm the computer has if it doesn't show anything don't worry, it just means it's not active.

To activate the tpm va in the computer's bios follow these steps:

From the main screen press F2 key to go to advanced mode.

Then click on this sequence according to the images below: PERIPHERALS > AMD CPU fTPU > ENABLE.

Once that's done, send save and exit the BIOS.

after that check the tpm tester again.

I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.

Have a nice day and stay safe.

    Marcelo de C.

That did the trick after I figured out where those settings in the bios were. Thank you very much, that was much easier to correct than I was expecting, LOL. I appreciate your help
