Hello,

Where can I find Msvcr71.dll? I used to download it, with English download explanations, with the Microsoft® .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package from  https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=26 . This link no longer works.

Thanks!

    Hi Christine,

I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.

Can you try to download and install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 from the link below?

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-eg/download/detail...

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.

    Hi again Paul,

Unfortunately, the new link does not solve the issue, as it downloads "vcredist" and not "dotnetfx".

Moreover, I need an official Microsoft link, because it will appear in the installation documentation of a product.

    Thanks again!

    Sorry if it didn't help.

Since the Microsoft link is not available anymore. I suggest that you try this another source.

    https://download.cnet.com/Microsoft-Visual-C-20...

Note: I have tried to download and install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 from the link so I can guarantee that it is safe.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the Msvcr71.dll from the link.

That might be because the link downloads a "vcredist" executable file instead of a "dotnetfx" file.

    Thanks!
