Hi,

When I try and open my pdf file it opens in the wrong app.

I have tried doing it with opening with, but it has a primary option in the context menu that opens it with Adobe Reader DC called ''Read''.

How can I remove the ''Read'' option? I would like to double-click on a file and that it opens with the app of my prefrence.

But because it prioritizes ''Read'' over ''Open'' it opens with the wrong app.

    Hi Mistral Versteeg

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

That 'Read' option on the PDF file context menu is created by some PDF application you have installed on your PC, it is not part of Windows, the only way to remove the 'Read' option would be to uninstall the app that created, if there is not a setting in that app to remove that context menu item.
