Hi

Roblox used to run smoothly for me but I did some stuff to make my browser and microsoft teams run smoother and after that everything ran smoothly but roblox lags so much. My pc meets the system requirements and my internet speed is very good. what I did was clean boot, and did these commands:

  • sfc /scannow
  • dism /online /cleanup-image /CheckHealth
  • dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
  • chkdsk /f /r /x

I uninstallled the game and reinstalled it which did nothing, I also ran troubleshooter and that didn't do anything. All the advice I can find online says turn down quality settings and make sure it meets the system requirements but I have done all that and it ran smoothly before but now it lags so much. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I will also put my specs below:

Processor: Intel Core i3-9100 3.60GHz

Ram: 8gb

Storage: 1tb

System: Windows 64-bit

    -Hi, my name is Claudeir, I'm happy to help you!

    Are you using the Microsoft Store to launch Roblox?

    What procedures have you done to make your browser and Teams run more smoothly?

    Clean boot and see if the problem with the game persists:

    -Clean startup:

    Clean boot is for you to determine if a background program is interfering with your system or to optimize your system load.

    For clean boot follow the steps below:

    On the Desktop, press the Windows + R keys simultaneously to open Run;

    In the Run Menu type msconfig command and click OK to open System Configuration;

    On the Services tab, check Hide All Microsoft Services and Click Disable All;

    Click Apply and OK;

    Restart the computer.

    NOTE:This procedure disables all third-party services and programs. You can later, if the problem is solved in this way, enable the programs and services that will start with Windows, selectively, instead of keeping them all disabled. If the problem returns after activating the startup of a specific service or program, the problem is exactly in the startup of this software and it is recommended to remove it.

    If it's a problem with the store, we'll fix it:

    -Solve problems with Microsoft Store, test if solved after each solution:

    1-Windows+i> Update and security> Troubleshooting> Additional troubleshooting> Windows Store Apps> Run Solution.

    2-Reset the Microsoft Store cache

    Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.

    Note:

    A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.

    3-Check the Microsoft Store Install Service

    Press the Windows Key + R and type in services.msc.

    Find the Microsoft Store Install Service and double click, If the status is Running, right click it then select Restart

    If Disabled, change it to Automatic, click Start and click OK.

    4-Reinstall the Microsoft Store app

    Press Windows key + X

    Click and Run Windows PowerShell(Admin)

    Copy and paste the command below then hit Enter:

    Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    Restart your computer.

    -Feel free to leave your opinion, marking as answered if the answer helped, or leaving more details so that we can continue the service, this is very important to us.

    Graciously,

    Claudeir

    If you start through the browser, test with another browser and see if the problem persists.

    Also test with other games and let me know if they are also having problems.

    Use Ctrl+Shift+Esc to check the processes, see if any tin process uses all your CPU or GPU, send a screenshot for me to evaluate.

    Yours sincerely,

    Claudeir

    Hi

    To make chrome and teams run smoother I did a cleanboot, used a windows file, disk, and image correction tool and did the windows 10 upgrade tool. Also I tried to do cleanboot again just now but it was already done. Also I do not launch Roblox from the windows store.
