Edge opened by itself, 'Halloween Quiz'?

I started up my desktop tonight and out of nowhere, edge decided to open by itself with a search for 'halloween quiz' in bing.

  1. edge is not my default browser
  2. I am the only one who uses this desktop

so thats really weird, whats the deal? running virus scans found nothing, is this just some bizarre feature? if so, how do I turn it off?

    You have probably clicked on the info that is shown on the lock screen, haven't you?

    Does this happen every time you login?

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    Open the Settings App

    Go to Accounts - Sign-in options

    In Privacy section at the bottom of that page, turn off the setting to 'Use my sign-in info to automatically finish settings up my device after an update or restart'

    Restart (not shut down) your PC.
