vcruntime140.dll was not found.

Hi! I'm having an issue where this popup won't go away.

The exact message saying:

It keeps saying that message or instead of "MSVCP140.dll was not found" it would be "vcruntime140.dll was not found"

Now, I have been looking for solutions online but it seems that nothing has worked.

I have downloaded both vcruntime140.dll and MSVCP140.dll and attempted to replace the files that are supposedly gone but there already is a vcruntime140.dll file there and even a MSVCP140.dll file.

MSVCP140.dll was replaced although I'm still getting the same System Error popup.

However, when I try to replace vcruntime140, it says that the file is being used/is opened in another program.

And I honestly have no idea what AdobeIPCBroker.exe is.

The only Adobe owned program that I have is Premiere Pro, but I don't know if I am needed to uninstall Premiere to get rid of this popup.

I've been having this issue for days and I don't know how to fix this, this is WAY beyond what I know about computers. Someone please help me find a solution.

Hi, I'm Robinson, and I’m happy to help you today.

I know how frustrating this may be for you but I'll do my very best to help you.

The AdobeIPCBroker.exe is the Creative Cloud app, this error means the Visual C++ library is corrupted.

Step 1- Remove all Visual C++ library

1-RIght-click on Start then click on Run

2-Type: control panel and click on Ok

    3-Click on Uninstall a program

4-Search and uninstall all "Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable"

    5-Reboot your PC

Step 2 - Reinstall the Visual C++ library

1-Download and the latest version at this link.

Maybe the Creative Cloud app requires the X86 version too. Try to install this version too.

    https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x86.exe

If you keep receiving the error you can try these other steps.

Check if doesn't have any corrupt files on the windows.

1-Right-Click on Start then click on Windows Powershell (admin)

    2- Type these commands.

    sfc /scannow (and press Enter)

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth (and press Enter)

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth (and press Enter)

3- The DISM tool will report whether the image is healthy, repairable, or non-repairable. If the image is repairable, you can use the /RestoreHealth (Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth) argument to repair the image.

Then try to repair the Creative Cloud app.

1-Click on Start then click on Settings

2-Click on Apps, then search for Adobe Creative Cloud and click on that

3-Click to modify and click to repair
