Audio playing only for about 10 seconds

In Video Editor, I have 3 parts. A 3 second image, a 180 second image with audio and finally another 3 second image. The duration for the middle section I have changed to 180 seconds. When I play the video (only with still images and audio) the audio plays after the initial 3 second image, but the audio only plays for about 10 seconds and then the audio disappears, although the video timer ticks on. The audio plays fine when played through Windows Media Player for example.

Any ideas?

I am running Windows 10 Home version 21H1 build 19043.1348

    Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community.

    It sounds like you are encountering an issue with audio stop playing in Video Editor. There may be a problem in the decoding process. You could change to another video to play in Vedio Editor to see if the problem remains.
