If you want to download music from the Internet, then Windows Media Player is not the app to use, you can get many portable music players that can be run from a USB drive that would allow you to download and play music on the PC to bypass that restriction.
Downloading Music on Windows Media Player
Ever since YouTube has been banned for the West Ada school district, I have been trying to find a way to listen to music on my school computer. Then I found Windows Media Player. I had looked up how to download songs on it and tried it, but it didn't work. How do I get my music downloaded and ready to play?
