My D/C's are already 2012R2. I'm running 2008R2 AD now. My schema = 69. All my FSMO Roles are under 1 D/C.
I believe all i need to do is 'Active Dir. Domains & Trusts' and raise the level their first and then go to 'Active Dir. Users & Groups' and raise the level their.
Is this the correct order?
I know I'm a little behind...

Windows for business | Windows Client for IT Pros | Directory services | Active Directory
Windows for business | Windows Server | User experience | Other

    Hi @mike vaccaro ,

First ensure that your domain and DCs are fully healthy before attempting to raise the domain and forest functional levels.

    1. Check that all your DCs are working fine by running Dcdiag /v
    2. Check that the AD replication is healthy by running repadmin /showrepl and repadmin /replsum
    3. If any errors exists, correct them before raising the domain & forest functional levels
    4. Raise the domain & forest functional levels
