Hello, Dyari,
Happy to report that uninstalling and reinstalling the Microsoft AC Adapter driver fixed the issue. Will keep track of it to make sure it doesn't reappear with further updates.

Hello everyone. Does anyone else have issues with seeing abnormally high battery usage by Default Lock Screen?
As you can see in the picture above. The process drained 70% overnight. While the laptop was sleeping in my bag.
The laptop is almost brand new. Battery health is at 99%. It's only done 65 load cycles and the setting is set for best power efficiency.
I contacted support and was instructed to uninstall Microsoft AC Adapter drivers and see if the issue persists. Will test tonight, but wanted to ask if anyone else is having the same issue.

Dear
I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.
Sorry for asking this question but may I know how did you upgrade the system to Windows 11? Does your computer meet W11 system requirements?
After uninstalling the mentioned driver, monitor your computer and check to see if the computer's battery drains or not.
Please let me know if you need further assistance and keep me updated.
Hi VasilJordanov,
Glad to hear that.
Stay safe and have a nice day.
Hi,
I am wondering if the issue is fixed or not?

Hello, Dyari,
As I posted I'll be keeping an eye on the battery issues and post further updates if the issue persists. As for the win 11 compatibility, it was a recommended update from win 10 as the PC is fully compatible with win 11. No issues on that front. Other than the battery draining which is a major problem in my opinion I have noticed an irritating bug that prevents hidden taskbar to pop back up from hiding if you try moving your pointer at bottom right side of your screen where the date/time, notifications and status bar for battery/wifi etc are. Unhide works fine for the rest of the taskbar.
