Windows 10 Home 64bit 10.0.19042 Build 19042

System Model: Vivobook_ASUS Laptop X3500PH_K3500PH

Bought this laptop just a few weeks ago.

Tried the following solutions which failed to solve the problem:

1)"Network troubleshooting on your device" section of https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/fix-wi-fi-connection-issues-in-windows-9424a1f7-6a3b-65a6-4d78-7f07eee84d2c#WindowsVersion=Windows_10 .

1a)Checking the update history shows "Feature update to Windows 10, version 21H1, Failed to install on 11/10/2021 - 0x8024402c", which is probably due to the unable to connect to internet

1b)Download and install the latest WLAN driver from manufacturer website at https://www.asus.com/Laptops/For-Home/Vivobook/Vivobook-Pro-15-OLED-K3500-11th-Gen-Intel/HelpDesk_Download/

2)"Your wireless network adapter is recognized, but no Wi-Fi networks are found and you're not connected to Wi-Fi" section of https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/wi-fi-connection-icons-and-what-they-mean-in-windows-35f58c75-bd23-4b8b-dd1a-009fe53f86b3

3)sfc/scannow, which fixed some corruption

4)DISM /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth, without any corruption detected

5)Performed "Internet connections" and "Network Adapter" troubleshooters, to which the solution is to restart router, and report "Problem with wireless adapter or access point"

6)Turn off all antivirus, firewall protection from McAfee LiveSafe (free 1 year subscription) and quit Malwarebyte.

7)Full scan using Windows security and Malwarebyte without any detection

8)Restart router
